It was touch and go, but I made the flight to Newark, and arrived safely to the East Gate Hotel. The weather is gorgeous, but cooler tomorrow. Will register and hopefully not have to stand in line too long. Already connected with a few old friends.
I had a chance to look at some interesting stats about Women and Education in Canada - Stats Canada reports. Will share later. Just heard too Golnaz Nayerahmadi (student at McGill) can join our Round Table.
The Commission on the Status of Women will be meeting in New York from February 22nd to March 4th, 2011. The theme this year is access and participation of women and girls to education, training, science and technology, including for the promotion of women’s equal access to full employment and decent work
