An advisory came today to "organizations pre-registered to attend the CSW55".
The alert seems to be accessing the North Lawn Building, where the offical CSW meetings are taking place.
You will need "secondary passes" to access the building. At most, it states, one time-limited secondary pass will be given to each organization to be shared amount its representatives.
Further details will be posted online hopefully, as they become available. Advisories will be sent out by e-mail. We are adivsed to consult the website of UN Women www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/csw/55sess on a regular basis from now on for updates.
The welcome mat is not out for NGOs.
The Commission on the Status of Women will be meeting in New York from February 22nd to March 4th, 2011. The theme this year is access and participation of women and girls to education, training, science and technology, including for the promotion of women’s equal access to full employment and decent work
