Just heard from Ceyda Turan and Caylee Hong, both students at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec that they will participate at the Round Table that NCWC is sponsoring at the CSW.
Round Table - Educating Girls in Canada - Successes and Challenges
Wednesday, February 23rd, from 2:00 to 3:30 at the Salvation Army, Lower Level. Come and hear from these young women about their education and career paths.
Other women, familiar with provincial and federal organizations will share their knowledge and frustrations.
The Commission on the Status of Women will be meeting in New York from February 22nd to March 4th, 2011. The theme this year is access and participation of women and girls to education, training, science and technology, including for the promotion of women’s equal access to full employment and decent work
